Welcome to the bubbleHacks newsletter. In this free weekly (sometimes bi-weekly 😉 ) newsletter, I share quick tips and hacks on advanced bubble.io topics.
My name is Damian, and I am the creator of bubbleHacks. I have built 10+ apps on bubble.io, launched about half of them, and submitted two to the Apple AppStore, including in-app payments. I am also the creator of one of the best-selling templates on the Bubble marketplace 😃 .
Frankly, except for the template, most of my apps had very mediocre market success, at best. In retrospect, I have been way too focused on building cool tech and did not pay enough attention to what my potential users wanted and how to reach them. The good news is, however, almost all of my apps had one thing in common: They were complex. They all had elements or functionalities that were hard to build with the basic Bubble 101 I had learned that far. Many of them had a very mobile-friendly design achieved by custom javascript and CSS code, external APIs, backend workflows, and many other small but non-obvious 'hacks' and workarounds.
I have spent hundreds of hours on trial-and-error, googling, and engaging in the Bubble forum. My goal with this newsletter is to share what I have learned so you can build your apps faster than I did. If you have a basic understanding of Bubble and want to bring your skills to the next level, I hope this newsletter will be fabulous for you.
bubbleHacks is my first newsletter 🤷♂️ , so please bear with me. I certainly am looking forward to this journey and hope you get a lot of value from it.
Last but not least: I'd love to hear from you, and I'm looking forward to engaging in the post comments or the bubble forum.
See you soon,
Damian

A warm welcome
Damian, we should connect. I think we could do something mutually beneficial.
Hi Damian,
Your first message makes me want to learn more! I've learned my fair share of hacks along the way since I started using Bubble 10 months ago, but I'm always eager to more tips and tricks, and learning how to develop apps, find workarounds, or even manage projects and clients on Bubble app projects.
Looking forward to the first issue of bubbleHacks!
Pierre
