Adding animated blobs to your Bubble app
Animated blobs are a great way to create stand-out landing pages. And yes, you can do it on Bubble by just adding a few lines of CSS code.
Here is how to do it:
Watch my short video tutorial.
Copy the code from my example editor setup to your Bubble app and customize it as needed (the video explains how).
Done.

I want to make this a standing segment of my newsletter and I am honored, JJ Englert has agreed to by my first guest 🙏
Who are you?
My name is JJ Englert, and I spent the last 10-years making feature films, music videos, and television shows within the film industry. I started a tech company 4-years ago to solve my pain points of hiring within the film industry, called IndustryJump.
What are you building?
I am currently building Jumpstudios.io in Bubble. Jump Studios is a project and business management platform for video business owners. Through an integrated CRM suite and with tools like advanced video review, company invoicing, and a library of video contracts, we make it easy for media professionals to manage and scale their businesses. Jump Studios is leveraging the following APIs: MUX, Stripe, Wasabi cloud storage, and Google Auth.
What is your most significant learning from this project?
My biggest learning experience as an entrepreneur came from building Industry Jump as a non-technical founder. We were building sophisticated technology that I had no clue how to manage or operate. That left me in a rat race where we constantly needed more money to develop/sustain the business. Furthermore, it meant that we were always trying to get the technology right instead of getting the business right like we should have been doing. This stayed true until we ran out of money one day. Then I was faced with the choice of learning how to build it myself or to close the business. So I took Gregory John's Bubble course and have been addicted to Bubble ever since!
What is your favorite Bubble hack?
One of my favorite bubble tricks that I have learned recently is how to create a double click functionality. I like this method because it allows me to layer user interactions within the same element. For example, if I have a list of media files that I am displaying to my user. With a single click, the user can select a file. On double click, the user can preview that file. Both of those actions are handy. This configuration allows me to maximize my UI and strengthen my overall UX.
